North India Travel Guide

During your North India travels you can taste Indian food including rice, lentils, vegetables, chicken, lamb and fish from the river. These meals are accompanied with different types and sizes of bread, yogurt, salad, papad and achar. The famous desserts are gulab jamun, Rasmalai, Rasgulla, Faluda Kulfi and ice cream with different colors and flavor. On your North India tour you can also make purchases of handicrafts. Jaipur has production of handmade carpets, printed clothing, colorful dresses and semiprecious stones with hand carved jewelry. Udaipur is famous for miniature paintings being painted on silk, paper and camel bones. The most typical carpet in Rajasthan is the camel wool. Agra has great productions of objects marble inlay semi-precious stones.
