Old Delhi was founded by the founder of Taj Mahal, Shahjahan and named during 17th century as Shahjahanabad. Shahjahan built Jama Masjid and Red fort. Chandani Chowk is famous among travelers due to its sorroundings. New Delhi was founded by Britishers in 1911 as capital city. Since than New Delhi is the capital city of India.

In Delhi one should visit Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Chandani Chowk, Rajghat (Crematory of Gandhi), India Gate, Parliament, Rastrapati Bhawan (President Palace), Birla temple, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Humayun’s tomb and Qutab Minar.

One should realize the taste of delhites which is a combination of various parts of this vibrant country. Such as Paranthas, Chaat, Butter Chicken, Kebabs, Chole Bhature, Biryani, Desserts etc.
